Answer: Not waterproof as nothing really is but it is water repellent. Water just wipes right off cushions!

Question: Can this threshold ramp be cutted into different size to fit different size of doors? Such as cutted from 43" to 38".
Answer: Yes.It can be cutted.I recently used one on a 36" door, and was able to leave it full length.If it must be cut,a utility knife is necessary.It is better to do a trial cut first near one end-on the piece that will be discarded.
