Durable Construcion

Each piece of POLYWOOD furniture is constructed of genuine POLYWOOD lumber and built to withstand a range of climates including hot sun, snowy winters, freezing rain, salt spray, and strong coastal winds.

Made Using Recycled Plastic

Approximately 30,000 milk jugs are recycled per hour to create POLYWOOD all-weather lumber. After your furniture is constructed, any scrap lumber pieces from manufacturing are sent back to the POLYWOOD recycling plant to be made back into lumber.

Question: What is the weight capacity for these chairs?
Answer: This was a gift, but as I recall, they are pretty heavy and are very sturdy. The whole shipment was around 85 or more pounds. Maybe the chairs are 35-40 pounds each.

Question: Is the hardware stainless steel? Will they rust over time? May these chairs sit in the water?
Answer: All POLYWOOD hardware is 18-8 stainless steel with an AlloChrome 3200+™ finish and cosmetic coating. While the hardware has a high level of corrosive resistance, salt air environments may could cause sign of corrosion. A simple cleaning with a gentle soap and warm water can help! The chairs are able to get wet, however we don't advise submerging them in water or leaving them there for long periods of time. If the water they sit in includes chemicals, we suggest hosing them off between uses. Our chairs are made to withstand all four seasons!

Question: Are these chairs stackable?
Answer: The POLYWOOD Nautical Curveback Adirondack Chair is not stackable.

Question: Does this come assembled?
Answer: There is light assembly required on the POLYWOOD Nautical Adirondack seating set. Some steps include connecting the back assembly to the seat and attaching the legs to the table top.

Question: What is the height of the back of the seat bottom from the ground? Is this chair higher than traditional Adirondack chairs?
Answer: On the chairs from this set the back of the seat is approximately 12 3/4 inches from the ground. I highly recommend the chairs.
